Overview
Covenant Community Services, Inc. (CCSI) is a multi-faceted
community service organization serving Bakersfield and Kern
County on a local level and serving the state, nation and
international programs on a regional and international level. At
CCSI, we strive to follow a model of ministry and service that
includes our Jerusalem (Bakersfield), Judea (Kern County),
Samaria (the State and Nation), and the ends of the earth
(International).
A
major objective of CCSI is the development of services and
supports that are replicable across this county and across the
world. The foundation supporting this endeavor is two-fold.
First, there are hurting and hopeless children and families in
every community. Secondly, there are strong and vibrant churches
and people of faith that have hope as a commodity they can
provide to hurting and hopeless people. The combination of these
two populations results in the transformation of individuals,
families and communities.
CCSI offers a range of programs, services and supports to meet a
wide variety of children's needs, and the needs of the families
that care for them. Programs are broadly grouped under the areas
of Foster Care Services, Faith-Based Community Services, Family
Support Services, and Consulting Services.
