Thank you for committing to pray for Covenant and the many abused and neglected children and families we serve.  Outlined below are some specific prayer requests from each of our ministry areas.  We look forward to sharing stories of victory with you and continue to believe God for opportunities to share hope and love with abused and neglected children.

Joyfully for the Children,

Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS)

□   David B - started a new school on 1/21, pray for success & continued progress with TBS

□   Christen M - Graduating TBS on 1/31, pray for a great party and continued success at home & school

□   Marissa H - family losing their current home, pray that a new home is found and for a smooth transition to the new home and possible new school

□   Dominick SM - new TBS client, 5 years old, currently in foster placement after being removed from his family placement for physical and emotional abuse. It was confirmed that this young boy's mother rubbed chili pepper & jalapeņos in his eyes and mouth to punish him. This family also left Dominick alone in a dog kennel for hours when they left the home, forced him to go in the kennel with he disobeyed, and forced him to sleep in the kennel at night for an unknown period of time. TBS was referred to help Dominick maintain his current placement and to decrease his physically aggressive tendencies.

□   Kyle W - TBS client, 13 years old, currently being considered for Level 13-14 group home placement out of county

□   Nathan E - New TBS client, 11 years old male, recently released from a 2 week psychiatric hospitalization. Nathan had in-utero exposure to multiple drugs and currently suffers from suicidal and homicidal ideations and violent outbursts.

Building Blocks
Please cover Building Blocks in prayer.  Mark and Kevin report that there is a very real spirit of oppression at Building Blocks that keeps the youth from experiencing freedom and wholeness in their lives.  Mark, Stephanie and Kevin need your prayers for strength and wisdom because only God can give them the words to speak in the love and character of Christ.  Mark and Stephanie are taking a trip to Germany and we ask that you pray for travelling mercies and for Kevin as he assumes extra responsibilities.

CARENET

CN familyCARENET is in need of donations to fulfill the numerous requests we receive each week.  Please pray that we are able to create relationships with churches, businesses and individuals in the community who are willing to provide resources for families in the process of reunification.  Aditionally, please pray for the families we serve. There are many families each month in the process of reunification. This means their children are returning home from foster care. This is achallenging time as families are restored and prior negative patterns are broken. Pray for the families God is putting back together and our service to them.
