Covenant Vision

We envision a future where every foster child lives in emotional, physical, relational and spiritual wholeness thereby ending the cycle of abuse and neglect in our community.

Our Mission

Providing hope and love to abused and neglected children

Covenant's Covina Sub-Office
Located at: 438 1st. St, Covina, CA 91723
Phone: 626.966.4488
Facility #197805318

Recently, in an agreement with the Covina Assembly of God, Covenant has opened a sub-office in Covina, CA.  This office will come under the Covenant's licensure and will replicate programs offered in Bakersfield.  Covina's programming will include:  foster care, mentoring and Royal Family Kids’ Camp.

The road to developing a sub-office in Covina began because Pastor John Johnson of Covina Assembly has a heart for the fatherless.  He is a foster parent and desires to see God's Word found in James 1:27 ("...to look after orphans and widows in their distress...")  fulfilled in his church and community.  As a result of both the vision of Pastor John and Covenant CEO Randy Martin, Covina is well on its way to becoming the avenue for providing hope and love to abused and neglected children.  On September 12th 2007, the Covina office passed the Licensing visit and we are now awaiting our paper licenses to begin recruiting foster families.

Covenant is a Christ-based, nonprofit foster family agency licensed by the State of California.  CCSI recruit, train and certify foster families to provide safe, stable and loving homes for children to develop and grow in God’s love and grace.  The Jeremiah Mentoring Project matches a foster child with a caring adult who can provide friendship, guidance and support during the critical transition from child to adult.  Many of the youth in the foster care system are in need of positive role models who will help them achieve their full potential.  Royal Family Kids’ Camp (RFKC) is a one-week summer camp especially designed for foster children. The camping experience is created for the child’s success as the ultimate goal. RFKC utilizes camping strategies and “best practices” in social services while recognizing the needs of abused, neglected and abandoned children. The activities at camp are non-competitive, non-threatening and fun.
